I’m Brazilian-American, and I’ve spent my summers in Brazil for as long as I can remember. And for just as long, I’ve come home with things people would inevitably ask me about: Where did you get that?

In the late ’90s, I was coming home with Salinas swimsuits and Havaianas, before either was a household name in the U.S. Every trip since has meant bringing a few special pieces home with me.

This summer, I spent two months in Brazil with my two daughters and realized that even in a world where everything seems available everywhere, there are still incredible local brands creating beautiful, distinctive pieces you simply don’t find back home.

Found By Me is my way of sharing them.

I look for Brazilian brands that feel special, true to where they come from, and deserving of a wider audience—then bring back a small, curated selection of the pieces I love most.
